Have questions about your MRI experience?
At Texas MRI, we understand that many patients have never had an MRI or other imaging procedures done before, and that you might have many questions about what to expect. Below are some of the questions most frequently asked by patients before having an imaging procedure.
STEP ONE
preparing for your scan
After pre-booking your appointment, our office will get in touch with you to finalize your scheduling. At this point, be sure to mention any special needs or considerations you would like us to make so we can ensure your comfort!
STEP TWO
the day of your scan
Arrive on time with your insurance information. Any metal pieces, including jewelry, buttons, belt buckles, underwires, or anything else made of metal MUST be removed. Be sure to mention any special needs to your technician and we'll make sure to accommodate you as well as we can.
STEP THREE
during your scan session
Once you're comfortable, we'll take care of the rest! Just make sure you're able to lie still long enough for the scan to complete, which won't take long. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask your technician.
STEP FOUR
after your appointment
When we're finished processing your scans, you'll receive a disc that you can take to your doctor. We'll also provide those scans for your doctor to download. Thank you for visiting Texas MRI!
